1. Duty and Tax Responsibility

For international orders, the recipient is responsible for any applicable duties and import taxes upon delivery. These charges are not included in the checkout price and must be paid directly to customs when receiving your order.

2. Import Duty Costs

Customs duty rates vary by country and depend on the tariff policies of the destination. We use USPS First Class for international shipping, and customs duty amounts are determined by your country’s regulations. For packages shipped via USPS First Class, we typically declare an invoice value between $20 USD and $150 USD and mark the package as a gift to help minimize import duties. However, final charges are subject to your country’s customs policies.

3. Reducing Import Tax

If you have specific requirements for the declared invoice value, please email us at support@boschfilter.com. We can adjust the declared value accordingly. If no specific instructions are provided, we will declare an amount based on the package’s weight and size within the range of $20 USD to $150 USD.

4. Customs Clearance Issues

If your package encounters customs clearance issues, we will cover the clearance fees and provide you with the shipping invoice, which you may need to present to customs. We will also assist by coordinating with USPS to help resolve the matter.
